Student Internship Program

Student Internship Training Program Guidlelines:

The CSIR-NCL Internship Program is designed to enhance R&D in the country by nurturing the research skills of promising undergraduate and postgraduate students. The program aims to develop students' expertise in selected disciplines through projects and summer internships. We invite talented UG (BE or B.Tech) and PG (ME, M.Tech, MSc, M. Pharm.) students from universities and colleges to participate in our internship program, allowing them to gain specialized research skills and hands-on experience.

Our internships are available in various fields, including chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemical sciences, physics, polymers, advanced materials, management, and other research areas of interest to CSIR-NCL. Students who wish to undertake academic projects lasting 2 to 12 months as part of their academic curriculum are encouraged to apply. For more information on the laboratory's current research activities, interested students should visit the NCL website (www.ncl-india.org). Applicants should have an excellent academic record, a strong research interest, and the aptitude to pursue it.

Fee:

Please be informed that no fees or charges are associated with this training/project work, and no stipend or fellowship is provided for short-term trainees. Selected students must arrange their travel to and from the location and secure their boarding and lodging for the duration of the project/training. After selection, students may notify their guides if they require on-campus accommodation, which will be considered on a shared basis depending on availability and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. However, please note that accommodation or meal services are not guaranteed, so students should be prepared to make independent arrangements for travel, lodging, and other needs.
